We are hiring an Social Media Project Manager to join a top beauty company in NYC. This freelance position will be running until July 2027 with potential to extend and will be hybrid in their NYC HQ.
- Pay Rate: $65/HR - $75/HR
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets for a variety of Social team workstreams, including but not limited to new product releases, monthly content packages, internal meeting content needs and more
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Local Markets, PD (product comps and needs for Social shoots), Education, DMI Creative team, and external agencies to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain the brand’s DMI Asset Library on SharePoint/Sprinklr/OneDrive/OPERA, ensuring readily available resources for internal team and Local markets. Maintain internal team folder with key folders and documents, and update when required.
- Jointly with AVP of Brand Engagement/Social, directly manage finances & budgets across 15+ projects, open POs & SOWs, communicate with key partners to invoice and close outstanding fees and meet with DMI Finance team weekly & monthly to deliver up-to-date trackers
- Develop and maintain realistic project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and dependencies are managed effectively. Track progress and communicate updates to DRIVE project manager lead, including any risk
- Maintain inventory of all products used for content shoots including but not limited to: ordering shipments, general office closet/inventory management and being the key holder for closet
Required Qualifications: - 4+ years of social media management, creative/production operations, and/or marketing project management experience and bachelor’s degree
- Clarity, confidence and efficiency in verbal / written communications with all partners
- Ability to make prioritization judgments and recommendations against current resources & budget while keeping bigger-picture goals in mind
- Complete understanding of creative process and production process to support building of schedule from inception to project completion
- Comfortable managing and influencing cross-functional teams and external partners
- Agency experience a plus
- Knowledge of computer programs including but not limited to:
- Trello Project Management platform
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- OPERA / Sprinklr
- SharePoint / OneDrive
- DocuSign
- MyMarket
