Social Media & Community Specialist
Note: This role is for one of our clients
Location: West Los Angeles (5 days in-office)
Reports to: Head of US Marketing
We're a fast-growing, international better-for-you food and beverage company with a strong and rapidly expanding US footprint. Our products sit at the intersection of health, performance, and everyday enjoyment, and they're now stocked across gyms, convenience, and grocery nationwide. The US has become one of our fastest-scaling markets, and the team here is small, agile, and genuinely obsessed with turning our brand into a household staple.
The Role:
We're looking for a Social Media & Community Specialist to join our US marketing team and own how one of our core brands shows up culturally and creatively across social — with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.
You'll own day-to-day social execution while partnering closely with our global creative team, keeping our platforms dynamic, relevant, and true to the brand. This is a US-market role, so you'll be shaping the conversation specifically for a US audience.
What You'll Be Doing:
Own social and community
- Lead a social-first strategy that treats community as a real brand channel, not just a place to answer questions
- Define how the brand shows up in conversation across every platform
- Be the internal voice of the community
Lead community management and conversation
- Own day-to-day community management across all platforms, keeping engagement timely, thoughtful, and on-brand
- Get in the mix — comments, DMs, mentions, tags, UGC — in a way that feels human, culturally aware, and brand-forward
- Spot the standout comments, fans, and moments worth amplifying, and turn engagement into storytelling
- Build creative approaches to community interaction: reactive replies, social-first moments, platform-native conversation tactics
- Monitor sentiment, trends, and feedback to surface opportunities, risks, and areas to grow
Bring the brand to life through content
- Create, curate, and publish content that sparks conversation, invites participation, and deepens emotional connection
- Keep a strong, intentional content mix across product, lifestyle, culture, ambassadors, events, retail, and e-commerce
- Test new formats, storytelling approaches, and interactive content to pull the community closer
- Keep the tone of voice consistent but flexible — able to flex into humor, trends, and cultural moments without losing the brand
Drive cultural relevance and real-time engagement
- Stay deeply tapped into platform behavior, emerging trends, and cultural moments, and know when the brand should jump in
- Lead reactive, real-time content that feels authentic and community-driven, not over-branded
Support campaigns, launches, and activations
- Activate the community around launches, events, partnerships, and ambassador moments — before, during, and after
Who You Are:
You're chronically online in the best way — visually sharp and deeply aware of how brands show up in culture right now. You understand that social isn't just about posting; it's storytelling, relevance, and connection.
You're creative and organized, able to juggle competing priorities without losing your eye for aesthetics, brand tone, or timing. Fast-paced environments energize you, challenges excite you, and you're motivated by building something people actually want to engage with.
Bonus points if you're into sports, wellness, or performance culture and have worked with influencers before.
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years in social media, marketing, or brand support
- Strong command of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook — trends, formats, and best practices
- Experience with CPG, food and beverage, lifestyle, or wellness brands preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
- Clear, confident communicator in writing and verbally
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
- A real passion for culture, brand building, and digital storytelling
