The Role
BMG is hiring a Senior Social Media & Digital Strategy Manager to own and grow our social presence - Iman Hasan's personal channels and the Biohack-It handles - and turn it into a scroll-stopping, high-growth engine. This is a senior, hands-on, hybrid role based in Miami, reporting to the Head of Growth. You will set the social strategy and do the work: build the content plan, create and direct short-form that scales, grow the community and the audience across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and own the numbers. You are the person who makes the founder's and the company's social feel inevitable. This is not an entry-level seat - it is a senior owner of social who can carry these channels at a high bar without hand-holding.
What You Will Own
Social strategy and the content plan
- Define the social content strategy, content pillars, and the founder's voice across platforms, and own the weekly content plan (Sunday to Sunday, all platforms), submitted for approval a full week ahead - platform, date, post type, script or direction, caption, and reference for every post.
- Multi-platform execution and growth
- Run and grow daily Instagram and TikTok (Reels, carousels, Stories, B-roll, repurposed clips), YouTube Shorts, and the Instagram Broadcast Channel. Generate content that scales and builds engagement, move metrics across platforms, and build the social funnels and pages. Ship only after approval, at least 48 hours before posting.
- Short-form creative and trends
- Create, edit, and direct short-form video and graphics; ride trends with a founder and CEO lens, not just a 20-something's lens; and write captions in the founder's voice.
- Community building and audience development
- Build and nurture a highly engaged community, turning passive followers and listeners into active participants. Design community rituals and formats (Q&As, drops, activations) that increase retention and word-of-mouth growth, and make community a core growth driver that feeds the show, events, and brand equity.
- Social analytics and reporting
- Track content and audience performance and report against benchmarked KPIs into the Head of Growth's dashboard; use the data to double down on what works. Understand engagement rate, saves and shares, growth metrics, and how social feeds the email and paid funnels (even where the Head of Growth owns those).
- Show, distribution, and events
- Repurpose podcast and show content into social, align posting with launches and the show relaunch, and coordinate with production on clips. Capture and amplify live experiences on social, with pre- and post-event content that turns attendees into community.
- Cross-functional and AI
- Work closely with the Head of Growth, the email team, and production; direct freelance content support as needed; and use AI tools to speed content creation, scheduling, and reporting.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- 5+ years hands-on managing and growing social for a brand, founder, or creator - a seasoned, senior operator, not entry-level.
- You come from the industry. Media, podcast, creator or influencer, or founder-led companies - ideally in health, wellness, longevity, or a culture-driven consumer space. This is not your first social role in media.
- Real, provable multi-platform growth - you have grown a handle from X to Y, or made content that performed, with the numbers to show it. Strong command of Instagram and TikTok; YouTube a plus.
- Fluent in growth metrics and analytics - you read the data and adjust, and you understand how social feeds the funnel.
- A founder and CEO lens - you get business goals and what a founder will and will not post, and you can write in someone's voice.
- Elite short-form creative and trend instinct, fast, organized, and self-driving.
- Miami-based and up for a hybrid role - in person, on set, and at events - and able to shoot content in and around Miami.
- Hungry, senior, and stable - here to build and stay, not to churn.
Nice to Have
- Paid social and email or funnel awareness (even if not owning them).
- On-camera or production skills; experience with a podcast or creator network.
- Portuguese or Spanish for audience reach.
What Success Looks Like in the First 30 Days
- The weekly content plan is running on the Friday-ahead cadence and the backlog is cleared.
- Consistent daily posting across platforms, in the founder's voice, at a high creative bar.
- A social analytics baseline is feeding the Head of Growth's dashboard, with early lift in engagement quality (saves, shares, comments).
