Global Social Media Specialist, Influencer Relations
Overview
We are seeking a creative, hands-on Social Media & Influencer Specialist to drive organic social media strategy, content creation, creator partnerships, and community engagement for a global consumer brand. This role is ideal for someone deeply immersed in social media, creator culture, and visual storytelling, with experience building engaged online communities and managing influencer programs
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and execute organic social content across major platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels
- Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and cultural moments
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels while tailoring content to platform-specific audiences and behaviors
- Monitor trends, conversations, and emerging opportunities to keep content relevant and engaging
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to support social growth initiatives
Content Creation & Production
- Create, adapt, and optimize social-first content including short-form video, tutorials, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes content, creator collaborations, and community-driven storytelling
- Capture content at events, photoshoots, activations, and internal productions
- Edit and repurpose assets for platform-specific performance and engagement
- Translate brand messaging into compelling, audience-focused social content
- Continuously test new creative formats, storytelling approaches, and content strategies
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Manage influencer, creator, and ambassador partnerships from identification through execution and reporting
- Source and recruit creators who authentically align with brand values and target audiences
- Oversee outreach, gifting programs, contracts, briefing materials, content approvals, and campaign management
- Build long-term relationships with creators to drive advocacy, credibility, and community engagement
- Track campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor social media and influencer performance using analytics and social listening tools
- Deliver campaign, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Translate audience insights and engagement data into actionable recommendations
- Establish benchmarks and identify opportunities for audience growth and content optimization
Community Engagement
- Act as the brand voice across social channels by managing comments, direct messages, mentions, and community conversation
- Foster relationships with customers, creators, and brand advocates
- Monitor audience sentiment and identify emerging trends, risks, and partnership opportunities
- Support the development of an active and engaged online community
Required Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in social media, specifically influencer marketing and content creation
- Experience managing organic social channels for a consumer brand or agency is a must
- Proven success developing and executing influencer, creator, or ambassador programs
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, creator ecosystems, and platform-native content
- Experience creating and optimizing content across multiple social channels
- Familiarity with social media management, reporting, and social listening platforms
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into content recommendations Experience with content production and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, agencies, production partners, and external creators.
