This is for a sharp, proven Script Writer who knows how to make paid ads convert. You'll turn client offers, briefs, and strategy notes into scripts built to stop the scroll and drive action across short-form social and paid social platforms. You'll write for a range of clients and industries, so range, judgment, and consistency matter as much as raw talent. This is project-based, paid-per-script work with steady, ongoing volume for the right person — someone who hits deadlines without sacrificing quality and treats every script like it has a number to hit. Write short-form social media ad scripts (Reels, paid Meta/Instagram creative)
Adapt your voice and tone to fit different clients, offers, and audiences
Craft strong hooks, clear messaging, and direct calls to action
Work from briefs and strategy notes, and revise based on feedback
Hit deadlines consistently and manage multiple scripts at once
Proven experience writing scripts for paid ads — this is a must. Show us work that ran and, ideally, that performed.
A degree in scriptwriting, screenwriting, film, marketing, communications, or a related field — OR extensive hands-on experience writing scripts
A real command of the mechanics of attention-grabbing scripts: how to open, hold interest, and drive action
A strong grasp of hooks, pacing, and what makes people stop scrolling
The range to write in different voices for different brands and audiences
Self-directed, organized, and genuinely dependable with deadlines
Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly without ego
Fluent in social platforms and current short-form trends
Direct-response or conversion copywriting background
Experience working with marketing agencies or juggling multiple clients at once
A track record of scripts tied to measurable results
Engagement: Independent contractor (1099), paid per script
