We are a growing boutique marketing company looking for an entry-level, part-time Marketing Coordinator to support social media, campaign coordination, vendor follow-up, and general marketing administration.
This is a remote role for approximately 10 hours per week, with preference for someone based in or near the Denville/Rockaway, NJ area for occasional in-person meetings, training, or team check-ins as needed.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is organized, creative, dependable, and interested in growing within a small, growing company. The position will begin with internal support responsibilities, with the opportunity to take on more ownership over time.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Draft captions and basic marketing copy
- Help organize content calendars
- Coordinate campaign details internally
- Follow up with vendors on assets, timelines, and deliverables
- Track deadlines, approvals, and project updates
- Organize marketing files, brand assets, and campaign materials
- Assist with basic reporting and social media metrics
- Research content ideas, trends, competitors, and campaign inspiration
- Support day-to-day marketing and administrative tasks
Client Communication
This role is primarily internal support to start. Direct client-facing responsibilities are not expected at this time, though there may be an opportunity to grow into more responsibility as the company continues to grow.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidate, recent graduate, or early-career professional
- Interest in marketing, social media, branding, and client service
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or TikTok
- Comfortable using Dropbox, Google Drive, AI platforms, Teams, Sprout Social, Canva and similar programs
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to manage deadlines and follow through on tasks
Preferred Experience
- Internship, freelance, campus, or volunteer marketing experience
- Experience creating social media posts or captions
- Basic Canva design experience
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools
- Interest in growing into a larger marketing role over time
Work Location
Remote, with preference for candidates located near Denville, Rockaway, Parsippany, Morris Plains, Morristown, or surrounding Morris County areas for occasional in-person meetings as needed.
Compensation
$22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
