We are looking for a detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing coordination in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping materials, assets, and logistics organized while contributing to a fast-moving team environment. The position focuses on marketing operations, event support, and administrative coordination, with an emphasis on improving how collateral, inventory, and shipments are managed. This is an onsite role that will work closely with marketing, sales, and operations partners.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the organization and tracking of printed materials, branded items, banners, and other marketing resources to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Prepare, package, and send marketing materials to events, customer locations, and internal teams while maintaining shipping accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with trade show preparation and event coordination, including the movement and readiness of promotional assets.
• Update and maintain records within internal systems to monitor marketing inventory, fulfillment activity, and material usage.
• Keep digital files, templates, and creative assets well-structured so team members can easily access current materials.
• Coordinate the collection, storage, and uploading of photo and video content for marketing use.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows related to shipping, inventory control, and collateral handling, and help implement improved processes.
• Provide general administrative and project support across marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders as needed.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail in both physical inventory and digital file management.
• Experience in administrative support, coordination, or logistics within a business or marketing setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with marketing support tasks such as event preparation, content organization, or collateral management.
• Proactive approach to improving processes and solving operational issues independently.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
• Experience with inventory, shipping, or ERP-style systems such as P21 is preferred, and exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus.
