Position Overview
We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and hospitality-savvy Social Media Specialist to support the ongoing growth and visibility of our hotel, restaurant, and lifestyle hospitality clients.
This is a part-time, ongoing role ideal for someone with experience in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, fine dining, or lifestyle brands who understands how to translate brand experience into compelling digital content.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, experience managing multiple platforms, and a clear understanding of how social media drives engagement, perception, and demand in the hospitality space.
You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media within hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing
- Create visually cohesive, on-brand social media content using existing image and content libraries
- Write compelling, brand-aligned captions that reflect tone, voice, and positioning
- Publish content consistently across Instagram (2–3 times per week)
- Apply strategic hashtag usage to expand reach and visibility
- Repurpose feed content into Instagram Stories to maintain consistent engagement
Content Planning & Execution
- Manage and execute a monthly content calendar
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Maintain consistency across visual identity, messaging, and overall brand presence
Performance Optimization
- Monitor performance across platforms and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach
- Continuously refine content strategy based on performance insights and trends
- Optimize profiles and channels, including:
- Bio updates
- Visual refreshes (profile images, highlights)
- Content mix adjustments
Industry Awareness
- Stay current with trends across hospitality, travel, lifestyle, and fine dining
- Apply relevant insights to keep content fresh, elevated, and competitive
Monthly Reporting
Prepare and deliver a monthly performance report that includes:
- Audience growth across platforms
- Engagement metrics:
- Reach
- Impressions
- Likes
- Shares
- Comments
- Top-performing content and key insights
- Audience demographics and behavior trends
- Strategic recommendations to improve performance and drive continued growth
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of elevated brand aesthetics
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice
- Highly organized with the ability to potentially manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
Hourly Rate: $32–45/hour depending on experience and portfolio quality
