About the Company
DTC Beauty Brand is seeking a Social Media Manager to help execute and optimize day-to-day social strategy across key platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging channels. This person will support content planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance reporting while helping shape a distinctive and engaging brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily activity across social media channels
- Support content calendar planning tied to launches, campaigns, and timely cultural moments
- Collaborate with creative partners to brief and review platform-appropriate content assets
- Write clear, engaging, on-brand social copy for posts and stories
- Execute channel-specific posting strategies designed to grow awareness, engagement, and conversion
- Own posting and optimization of video content across major social platforms
- Engage with community comments, messages, and tagged content in a thoughtful brand voice
- Monitor trends, audience feedback, and emerging opportunities for brand participation
- Track weekly performance metrics, report insights, and identify content opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally with creative, customer experience, influencer, PR, and related teams to support campaigns and launches
Qualifications
- 3+ years of social media experience, ideally within beauty, lifestyle, consumer, or dtc brands
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling instincts
- A strong eye for trends, aesthetics, and brand voice
- Experience with social media management, listening, analytics, or creator tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Comfort jumping into timely conversations and reactive moments when needed
Location: Los Angeles area
Schedule: On-site, 5 days per week
