Part-Time Job Posting: Freelance Social Media & Content Coordinator
Job Type: Part-Time Contract / Freelance (15–20 Hours per Week)
Location: Hybrid (Remote workspace, but must visit our office weekly to shoot video and scout local events)
About Our Practice
Established for over 25 years, our premier private dermatology practice features a highly respected medical team: 8 MDs, 1 Mohs Surgeon, 3 Physician Assistants, and 3 dedicated Cosmetic Providers. We are seeking an independent, creative Part-Time Freelancer who loves skincare and aesthetics to help us manage our social media, digital content, website SEO, and local community outreach.
What You Will Do (15–20 Hours/Week)
1. In-Office Video & Social Media
- Shoot Short Videos: Come into the office weekly to film quick, engaging video content (Reels style) featuring our 3 cosmetic providers and medical staff.
- Daily Posts & Stories: Manage daily posting, interactive Stories, and engage with followers on Instagram and Facebook.
- Grow the Cosmetic Brand: Focus on building a clean, modern, and beautiful aesthetic for our cosmetic page to showcase treatments, results, and product spotlights.
2. Content Creation, Blogs & SEO
- Monthly Blogs: Write one high-quality, engaging blog post per month focusing on skin health, treatments, or product education.
- Website Updates & SEO: Keep our WordPress website fresh by publishing the monthly blogs and updating content/images to boost our local Google SEO rankings.
- Marketing Content: Design clean, professional monthly marketing fliers using Canva for in-office displays, and write/design one monthly patient newsletter via Constant Contact.
3. Trends, Analytics & Community Outreach
- Review Trends & Analytics: Regularly review social media metrics, website traffic, and ad performance. Stay on top of current viral skincare trends to ensure our content remains relevant.
- Find Local Events: Research and identify upcoming community events, health fairs, or local neighborhood gatherings where our practice can market in person to new families moving to the area.
What We Are Looking For
- Skincare & Product Knowledge: You must have a genuine interest in and understanding of skin health, skincare ingredients, and common aesthetic treatments (like lasers, Botox, fillers, and facials) so you can write accurate blog and social content.
- Social & Tech Savvy: 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts, with a strong eye for filming/editing short videos on your phone.
- Basic SEO & Web Skills: Comfortable using WordPress to make basic text and image updates, with an understanding of how to use keywords to improve Google search rankings.
- Self-Starter: Since this is a part-time freelance role, you need to be someone who can manage your own time, look at analytics to see what is working, and proactively pitch fun content ideas or local event opportunities to us.
- Software Familiarity: Experience using Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Constant Contact, and WordPress.
