El Jimador Mexican Grill is an independent restaurant with two locations in Knightdale and Rocky Mount, NC. We're building our social media presence from the ground up and we're looking for someone who can think creatively, bring ideas to the table, and help shape how our brand shows up. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing strategist and owner, bringing your own perspective while working within an overall strategy. If you're someone who gets excited about building something from scratch and wants to see your fingerprints on a brand's growth, this is your role.
What you'll do
- Bring creative content ideas, trends, and campaign concepts to monthly planning conversations with the marketing strategist and owner
- Create and post content (photos, reels, stories) across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok on a consistent weekly schedule
- Collaborate on a monthly content calendar
- Visit both locations periodically to capture content — food, atmosphere, staff, events
- Respond to comments, DMs, and reviews in a way that reflects the brand voice and builds real relationships
- Stay on top of platform trends, audio, and formats and proactively bring relevant opportunities to the team
- Design graphics following brand guidelines — and flag when you think something could look better
- Track performance weekly and come with insights and numbers — what's working, what's not, and what you'd try next
- Be present at events and special moments
What we're looking for
- Someone who takes pride in what you put out
- Deep knowledge and understanding of what content performs well on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Comfortable shooting and editing short form video
- Eye for food and lifestyle photography
- A collaborator who can take feedback, respect approvals, and still advocate for their creative ideas professionally
- Able to travel between Knightdale and Rocky Mount locations as needed
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required
- Restaurant or food industry experience a plus but not required
Pay: $2,500.00 per month
