Role Description
This is an ongoing contract, hybrid role for a Freelance Graphic Designer, based in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility to work remotely and on call, as needed. The Graphic Designer will conceptualize and create visually compelling designs to support event marketing and promotional materials for our predominantly Entertainment Industry-based clients.
Responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Creative Director and design and production teams to ensure alignment with clients' objectives, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering high-quality visuals and assets within set deadlines.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE
Expert-level skills in:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
Advanced knowledge of:
- Color Management Systems (CMS)
- Bleed, trim, and safe area setup
- High-resolution file preparation (DPI/PPI standards)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Graphics and Graphic Design expertise with a proven portfolio of creative projects
- Proficiency in Logo Design, Branding, and Typography
- Strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail
- Strong Understanding of Large-Format Print and ability to prepare press-ready files
- Demonstrates both design creativity and production accuracy.
- Understanding of file formats (AI, PSD, PDF, EPS)
- Excellent time management and ability to meet ongoing project deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with event or experiential design is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ongoing availability during the work week, with some evenings and weekends.
This position is LA-based.
This position is remote and works collaboratively with our team on ZOOM.
This position is available for immediate hire; we looking for someone to start by 4/30.
Hourly rate is $50-100 DOE.
