Job Title: Marketing Associate /Digital
Location: El Segundo, CA (4 days onsite)
Duration: 1 year contract
Pay Rate: $40 to $45 /hr. On w2
Role and responsibilities:
The Sr. Marketing Associate plays an essential role in supporting American Girl’s digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in digital media and advertising including creator and influencer trends, creative, reporting and data insights – all with an eye for detail. They will collaborate with multiple internal groups across American Girl and Mattel, as well as external influencer and agency partners.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Reporting to the managers of social and paid media, the Sr. Marketing Associate is responsible for the execution and the day-to-day support of influencer and paid digital marketing campaigns, which can include social media, search, video, and display media channels.
Key areas include:
Agency and Influencer Partner Collaboration and Outreach
Regularly collaborate with agency and media partners to plan and execute influencer and paid media campaigns.
Nurture and develop relationships within the digital influencer community as a primary point of contact, and partner with American Girl retail teams to execute on-site influencer activations.
Execute earned influencer giftings, managing lists, and fulfillment.
Campaign Briefing and Implementation
Lead influencer selection and briefing in addition to creative briefing for social and paid media
Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years professional experience in digital marketing and influencer or brand partnerships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint and experience with database management programs.
Proficiency in social media (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads), SEO/SEM (Google Ads, Amazon, Yelp, etc.) and programmatic.
Digital expertise- Savvy, creative, and knowledgeable about who and what is trending in the digital and influencer space.
Strong knowledge of the various influencer segments (nano, micro, mid-tier, macro, mega) and an established network of agents and managers
