We are Curious & Company, a digital creative agency where left and right brains come together to produce creative magic. We’re looking for a talented freelance motion designer to join our team. If you’re passionate about film, TV, and digital media, and love self-managing your creative projects, keep reading!
What You'll Do:
- Design & Animate: Create compelling social media content ranging from static graphics to advanced motion graphics with compositing and dynamic visual effects.
- Edit Footage: Build solid edits from a variety of footage to tell stories and craft narratives.
- Creative Conceptualization: Read movie scripts and watch soon-to-be-released TV episodes and brainstorm unique social media content ideas.
- Multi-Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting tight deadlines with efficiency and ease.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience.
- Portfolio: A demo reel or portfolio showcasing your recent work.
- Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Passion: A love for producing innovative, high-quality creative work.
- Organization: Detail-oriented, with an organized workflow and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Multi-Tasking: Strong ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a people-first attitude.
- Bonus Points: A keen eye for visual storytelling and a passion for movies, shows, and pop culture.
Timing:
- Looking for availability starting early August 2026 through mid-October 2026.
- Clients work PT hours, so must be available most days between 9:30am - 6:30pm PT.
