We connect athletes with certified mental performance and sport nutrition coaches who also support professional teams and Power 4 programs.

We’re an early-stage sports and health startup working across college athletics and youth sports.
Now we’re looking for someone to help tell the stories behind the athletes we support.
The Role
We’re hiring a Social Media Storyteller to help capture and share the real experiences of athletes, coaches, and families across youth and college sports.
This is primarily a video creation role.
You’ll produce short-form video across Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts, helping athletes, parents, and coaches discover Koomba.
You’ll work directly with our founders, coaches, and athletes to capture authentic moments across sports environments.
This role is ideal for someone who is already creating content and wants to build their career in sports storytelling.
What You'll Do
• Create short-form video content (3–5 pieces per week)
• Concept, shoot, and edit videos across Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Capture stories from athletes, parents, and coaches
• Film behind-the-scenes moments across sports environments
• Turn real athlete experiences into compelling storytelling
• Identify trends and formats that resonate with sports audiences
• Experiment with hooks, pacing, and video formats
• Help shape Koomba’s voice across social platforms
What We're Looking For
• You’re already making video content
• Strong understanding of short-form storytelling
• Ability to film and edit quickly (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
• Deep interest in sports culture and athlete development
• Self-directed and comfortable working in a startup environment
Bonus Points
• Experience filming athletes or sports environments
• Comfortable being on camera or interviewing athletes
• Existing TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account with examples
• Familiarity with AI video editing tools
• Interest in sports psychology, performance, nutrition or athlete development

Compensation
Contractor rate based on experience.
