Executive Social Media Lead
We are seeking an Executive Social Media Lead to manage and elevate the social presence of senior executives at a well-known technology and mobility organization. This role works closely with the CEO and additional C-suite leaders to shape executive thought leadership, capture compelling content, and drive measurable engagement across key social platforms.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who thrives working directly with executives and translating business priorities into impactful digital storytelling.

Role Overview
The Executive Social Media Lead owns the end-to-end social media strategy for executive leadership. This includes ideation, content creation, filming, editing, publishing, and community engagement. The role requires strong platform fluency, creative storytelling, and sound judgment when managing high-visibility executive communications.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Social Strategy
- Own and execute the social media strategy for senior executives, including the CEO
- Use LinkedIn and X as flagship platforms for executive announcements and thought leadership
- Establish best practices, tone, and scalable frameworks for executive social presence
Content Creation & Production
- Write clear, authentic, executive-level social copy
- Film and capture executive content, including leadership moments, behind-the-scenes footage, and events
- Edit and produce short-form video and visual content for social platforms
- Turn real-time moments into both timely and evergreen content
Thought Leadership & Campaigns
- Develop social-first thought leadership campaigns aligned with business priorities
- Build and manage executive content calendars across formats and platforms
- Identify timely content opportunities tied to industry trends and company initiatives
Events & Real-Time Coverage
- Shape social strategy for executive events and appearances
- Execute pre-event positioning, live coverage, and post-event amplification
Community & Reputation Management
- Monitor and engage with executive social communities
- Apply strong judgment and crisis sensitivity in real-time situations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Communications, Marketing, and Creative teams
- Translate business goals into effective digital and content strategies
Required Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in social media, communications, publicity, or executive branding
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn accounts with measurable engagement growth
- Strong content creation skills across copy, visuals, and multimedia formats
- Experience capturing events and turning live moments into polished social content
- Deep knowledge of LinkedIn and X platforms and best practices
- Familiarity with emerging social platforms and creator ecosystems
- Experience with community management and executive-level communications
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Comfortable working directly with C-suite executives
