BrandExtract is seeking a contract Social Media Manager who truly lives and breathes social media. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives on taking ownership, driving strategy, and delivering results with minimal oversight. You combine creativity and analytical thinking to craft compelling content and campaigns that build meaningful engagement and measurable impact.
In this role, you’ll work autonomously while collaborating closely with our internal digital, design, and account teams. You’ll also partner directly with clients — leading social media discussions, presenting insights, and confidently guiding strategy. Strong communication skills and executive presence are essential.
You’ll manage multi-platform organic content and paid advertising for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other emerging channels. You’ll oversee paid campaigns on Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, monitor performance analytics, and continuously recommend and optimize strategies to elevate results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for BrandExtract and client brands across key platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and others as needed).
- Plan, create, and schedule content that aligns with brand goals and audience insights.
- Create and manage paid social campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, and other advertising platforms.
- Analyze performance metrics, translate insights into clear recommendations, and present results to clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain detailed social media calendars.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across design, content, and strategy.
- Conduct competitive and trend analyses to uncover new opportunities.
- Monitor channels, monitor audience engagement, and provide responses to our clients’ internal teams in a timely way.
- Own social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Loomly, Hootsuite, HubSpot), with the knowledge and confidence to recommend efficiencies and best practices.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media or content marketing (agency experience preferred).
- Proven success managing and growing brand presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Strong understanding of social ad platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, native insights).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation and client-facing experience.
- Confident, polished, and professional with strong executive presence.
- An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity and performance.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts independently.
