Job Summary
The Digital Marketing & Content Specialist plays a key role in advancing New Hope Housing’s brand visibility, fundraising efforts, and community engagement through digital channels. This position primarily supports the Senior Manager, Donor & Corporate Communications / Marketing by executing day-to-day digital marketing initiatives, managing content across platforms, and ensuring consistent, compelling storytelling. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creatively driven, and experienced in social media, website management, and email marketing. This role is for someone who can translate strategy into effective digital execution.
Pay Range
$21-$25 per Hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and execute New Hope Housing’s social media presence across platforms, including content creation, scheduling, posting, and community engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to inform future content and social media campaigns.
- Maintain and update New Hope Housing’s corporate website, including content edits, blog posts, landing pages, and basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is accurate, timely, and aligned with marketing and philanthropy goals.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, designing templates, and reporting.
- Maintain and manage digital marketing databases and platforms, including email lists, audience segments, and subscriber data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper organization.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives, particularly those tied to philanthropy, events, and storytelling.
- Create digital content to promote internal and external events for the organization as needed.
- Attend special onsite and offsite events to capture online content as needed

Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- At least 1 year of experience creating content for fundraising, brand awareness, or nonprofit campaigns.
- Experience developing social media strategies across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Knowledge of paid/organic digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Advertising, LinkedIn for Business, etc.).
- Experience managing website content using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Flodesk).
- Experience with entry level graphic design software (Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must have a reliable form of daily transportation.
Equipment
- Duties will require the regular use of telephones, computers, fax machines and calculators. Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to lift moderately heavy objects up to 10lbs. and perform duties requiring extensive maneuverability and normal strength.
