We run an entertainment section on the site and we received an influx of requests for music, television, podcasts, and films.
We are also working on our human interest section entitled Empowering Everyone.
We are looking to feature journalists and thought leaders who have written on topics that have recently been banned educationally like DEI, affirmative action, SCOTUS cases, election season coverage plus more.
We are looking to interview librarians, library aides, and literacy agents for this section - open call for personal stories extends until March 2026!

Responsibilities
- Utilize strong writing skills to create engaging and original content that can be cross promoted on our audience channels.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and credibility of written pieces. AI RESEARCH IS OKAY. AI WRITING IS NOT OKAY.
- Apply knowledge of AP style and Chicago Manual of Style for consistent formatting.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop creative ideas.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure high quality and error-free writing. OUR EDITORS HAVE YOUR BACK BUT WE FOSTER A COLLEGE LEVEL SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in interactions with clients and colleagues online or at in-person industry events.
