Our fashion client is seeking a Technical Designer to join their team on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical specifications: Create detailed tech packs including construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ensure proper fit: Lead fittings and provide feedback on drape, fit, and proportions.
- Collaborate with others: Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure that each design is executed accurately.
- Troubleshoot issues: Identify and resolve fit and construction issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up to date: Research new materials, technologies, and trends in lingerie.
- Manage projects: Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of fit, measuring, and garment construction.
- Must be willing to work freelance.
- Must have sense of urgency and be able to handle multiple responsibilities at once.
- 3+ years of experience.
