Position Summary
The Part-Time Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality visual materials for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media. The role reports to the Creative Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
· Design engaging visual content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) consistent with brand guidelines.
· Create and prepare digital assets for website use, including banners, icons, and infographics.
· Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and email templates.
· Assist in the creation of branded documents and internal communication materials.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet strategic goals.
· Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
Required
· Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, either professional or freelance (Portfolio may be requested).
· Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
· A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
· Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
· Ability to follow and maintain brand guidelines strictly.
Preferred
· Experience with motion graphics or video editing (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
· Familiarity with web design principles (UX/UI).
· Experience with a project management tool (e.g., Asana, Trello, Airtable).
Hours/Schedule
· Approximately 10 hours per week
· Remote working with the exception of pre-planned and scheduled in club meetings
