Our client, a famous fashion brand, is seeking an Embroidery & Graphics Designer (Associate) to support their kids apparel team team on a temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
- Supports kids design team with Adobe Illustrator sketches & color CADs
- Create detailed tech pack pages
- Develop graphics, embroidery and sequin layouts
- Conduct creative research for collections and provide design input
- Create & edit graphics for apparel alongside graphic design team
- Communicate technical specs for graphics/embellishments to production teams for sampling
- Enter graphic styles and other design specs in PLM system
- Review print and pattern strike offs
- Prepare fit comments to review with design team and clearly communicating comments to cross functional partners
- Assist design team with special projects as needed
- Ensure that deliverables meet budget and time constraints without compromising design excellence
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience & relevant portfolio
- Proficient in launching embroidery tech packs and creating embroidered layouts for garments
- Must have advanced Illustrator skills
- Passion for designing and making embroideries
- Strong understanding of the embroidery design process
- Strong communication skills—visual, oral, and written
