As a growing brand, Contagious Companies seeks a skilled and strategic Digital Marketing Specialist to help elevate the company’s digital presence, reach new prospects and clients, and effectively drive brand awareness across multiple platforms.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced, self-driven Digital Marketer or Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our social media marketing efforts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and possibly Instagram, with an emphasis on measurable growth, engagement, and targeted advertising. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous, contractor-based environment, is super results-oriented, and has experience working with a range of paid and unpaid marketing, scheduling, and advertising tools. You will work directly with Monica Wofford, Founder of Contagious Companies, and will be expected to offer both high-level strategic guidance and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Facebook (paid and unpaid), LinkedIn, and YouTube to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions.
- Determine need and/or strategy for Instagram deployment.
- Manage content creation, scheduling, and posting across platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and goals.
- Optimize and grow the company’s YouTube channel, ensuring consistent branding, content planning, and video engagement.
- Paid Advertising & Funnels:
- Oversee Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Instagram advertising campaigns, ensuring each campaign is set up for maximum ROI and lead conversion, as well as integration with CRM.
- Create and manage Facebook Pixel ads and manage marketing funnels to drive leads and conversions.
- Develop and manage email marketing and other automated campaigns in current platform Keap, while both Insightly, and/or Method.me are being considered for conversion.
- Engagement & Community Building:
- Implement strategies for increasing engagement on LinkedIn and Facebook, focusing on both organic posts and targeted ads.
- Actively participate in social media communities, engage with followers, and help convert interactions into business opportunities.
- SEO & Analytics:
- Analyze performance data from all marketing efforts, adjusting strategies to improve metrics like reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Advise on SEO-related tasks and ensure all digital content is optimized for search engines.
- Utilize analytics as a means to produce monetary results, versus merely for the sake of showing more likes, in a rapid ramp-up period of time. Ninety days of no monetary results and just increasing "likes" and what not, is no bueno. :)
- Creative Design & Content Creation:
- Design and create graphics and content for social media posts, ads, email campaigns, and other digital materials.
- Develop compelling copy for ads, blogs, and posts that drive engagement and action.
- Advising & Strategy:
- Provide strategic input on the company’s overall digital marketing efforts and advise on improvements to existing campaigns.
- Monitor trends and make recommendations for new platforms, tools, or techniques to incorporate into digital marketing strategies.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube platforms.
- Experience in paid and organic social media campaigns, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and the Facebook Pixel.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (Google Ads, Funnel Management, SEO, etc.).
- Proficiency in graphic design (tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) and content creation.
- Proven ability to advise on and implement marketing strategies, including copywriting, visual content, and scheduling.
- Experience with Keap, Insightly, and/or Method.me is a strong plus.
- A strong understanding of analytics and ability to optimize campaigns and results based on performance data.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines in a contractor capacity.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fun and joy-filled relationship building persona with a sense of humor. While we do serious business, we greatly prefer to have fun while DOING it.
