Freelance Marketing Assistant
Position Details
- FLSA: Nonexempt
- Compensation: $25–$50/hour, based on experience.
- Hours: 5-20 hrs/week; hours vary based on project schedules.
- Location: Remote/hybrid. PDT preferred.
- Reports to: Asset Management team and Development Associate
Based in Portland, Green Light and Home First Development are values-based developers and owners of a rapidly growing portfolio of affordable housing. We are seeking a Freelance Marketing Assistant to support the marketing efforts of our housing projects across Oregon. This role combines graphic design, digital marketing, and content creation to drive awareness and attract residents to our communities. This position is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and schedule flexible person who delivers quality work.
Duties:
Marketing Collateral Design:
- Design flyers and reels for waitlist, leasing, open house announcements.
- Design temporary property signage, wayfinding graphics, and site plans.
- Design and prepare print-ready signage and coordinate installation on-site.
Digital Marketing and Paid Advertising Campaigns:
- Set up and optimize Google Business Pages and Maps locations.
- Update property websites with project-specific branding, photos, and floor plans.
- Set up and manage Google Ads (Search, Display, PMax).
- Set up and manage Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram).
- Design and launch engaging social media ad creatives (static and video).
Qualifications:
- 1+ years in digital marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
- Ability to create visually compelling designs aligned with brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express) and Canva.
- Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and tools like Google Analytics.
