We’re looking for a freelance Mid-Level Creative / Creator with an exceptional knowledge of the social media landscape who can concept and make TikToks. You’ll be a meme maverick, viral sensationalist, super reactive culture freak who can provide creative concepts that entertain, educate, inspire and work smart to bring our brand worlds to life.
You’re on the bleeding edge of trends; have a deep understanding of community building and engagement. You’re a subculture investigator and initiator; you have a sharp eye for graphics and a keen interest in storytelling.
Day-to-day:
- Develop always-on creative concepts for TikTok and Instagram, bringing to life the narrative, tone, and look & feel of broader social media campaigns.
- Contribute to ideation of signature video series, long-form franchises, standalone content, and more across key social channels (TikTok, Instagram).
- Oversee design, creator and shoot briefs to ensure all work is produced to the quality standards of the OK COOL brand and clients.
- Able to concept, shoot, and edit content yourself.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a creative / art director in an agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience with social-first work.
- References required.
- Strong visual skills and high proficiency with the Adobe Suite and native social tools.
- An excellent understanding of the social media industry and platforms.
- NYC-based as we have a hybrid office use policy
