About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced
Lead UX Designer who is passionate about creating intuitive digital products and excited about using AI to accelerate the design process.
In this role, you’ll turn customer insights and complex business needs into simple, user-centered experiences. You’ll work across the full UX lifecycle, from research and journey mapping through wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and iteration. You’ll also use modern AI-powered tools to quickly explore ideas, develop prototypes, and validate new product experiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly collaborative designer who enjoys solving complex problems, experimenting quickly, and creating experiences that balance customer needs with measurable business value.
What You’ll Do
- Translate concepts and requirements into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Use findings from user interviews, surveys, and research to make informed UX and product decisions.
- Conduct usability research and testing to validate workflows and improve product experiences.
- Use AI-powered design and prototyping tools to accelerate ideation, explore design variations, and create high-fidelity prototypes.
- Prototype AI-enabled experiences and intelligent workflows that can be validated with customers, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Simplify complex information and data into intuitive, visually compelling experiences.
- Create reusable UX components and contribute to design systems and established design patterns.
- Apply Lean product development principles, using experimentation and validated learning to iterate quickly.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, content designers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure designs meet strong usability, accessibility, and human-centered design standards.
- Balance multiple projects and priorities based on customer value, ROI, and business impact.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities while applying sound UX judgment, critical thinking, and ethical considerations.
What You’ll Need
- Degree in a related discipline and 7+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or UI design within fully digital environments.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and human-computer interaction.
- Hands-on experience creating user flows, wireframes, journeys, mockups, and prototypes.
- Experience planning or conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and heuristic analysis.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools for UX ideation, design exploration, workflow development, or rapid prototyping.
- Strong visual, interaction, and product design skills.
- Working understanding of basic front-end development and technical feasibility.
- Knowledge of accessibility and usability principles.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and collaborating with product and engineering partners.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing or prototyping AI-enabled product experiences.
- Experience with conversational interfaces or intelligent workflows.
- Experience designing data-rich or data-informed product experiences.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems, reusable components, or front-end libraries.
- Familiarity with emerging AI-powered design and prototyping technologies.
What Success Looks Like
You’re a strong fit if you can take an ambiguous or complex product problem, understand the customer's underlying needs, and rapidly turn those insights into experiences that can be tested and improved. You’re comfortable using AI to move faster, but you pair those tools with thoughtful human-centered design judgment, research, accessibility, and usability principles.
