Freelance Video Content Creator — NYC Live Music

Theatr App • Part-time • New York, NY, US • 19h ago

Is your camera roll roughly 40% shaky encore footage? Does your group chat always ask you which shows to go to? If you answered yes, we’d love to meet you!

Theatr is an NYC ticket resale app (face value only) where someone’s change of plans can become someone else’s next great night out. The Broadway crowd already knows us. Now we’re helping more music fans find us, and we’d love your help.

This is a part-time freelance role where you’ll be posting UGC-style content about Theatr on dedicated Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts. Theatr is NYC-only for now so you have to be in NYC.

Why join us

• Earn up to $1.5k/month creating content about Theatr on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts

• Represent a growing startup and add professional social media experience to your resume - or maybe even become a full-time Theatr team member down the line!

• Become part of our ambassador network and meet people with similar interests

Who we’d love to meet

• You live in NYC, love its live music scene, and enjoy talking about the artists and shows you’re excited about

• You’re comfortable filming yourself and interested in making videos people actually want to watch

• Previous short-form video experience is helpful, but no professional experience is required

What you’ll create

• We’re looking for high-quality, high-volume, low-effort content

• You’ll be given guidance including specific references from other high-performing content, but still have a lot of room to exercise your creativity

• You won’t have to spam your current followers - everything will be posted on new dedicated accounts

• Expected time commitment is around 1-2h/week (ca 5 weekly posts you can batch-film at home)

• Short, conversational videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that introduce music fans to Theatr.

Compensation

• Monthly flat rate ranging from $200 to $525, increasing as you hit performance benchmarks

• Up to $1000/month in performance-based bonuses
