Freelance Social Media & Content Manager
Bellevue Creative Studio is a boutique social media agency in New York, working with a varied mix of lifestyle brands, from beauty and wellness to boutique hotels and product brands. The studio is growing and looking for an experienced freelancer with a strong aesthetic eye and strategic thinking.
About the role
Freelance contract, one set studio day per week in Manhattan, 9am–5pm, with flexibility when needed. You’ll work directly with the founder on everything from content to strategy. As the studio grows, this role can grow too.
What you’ll do
Content & strategy
- Plan, shoot and edit polished, on-brand short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, Carousels)
- Build monthly content plans for clients and explain the thinking behind them
- Track performance and recommend what to test next
Shoot days
Some weeks, the weekly workday will be a shoot day instead of a studio day. You’ll join the founder on site at client locations around NYC, such as hotels, studios and brand spaces, helping with setup, styling and lighting, and capturing both final content and behind-the-scenes. If you’re comfortable on camera, you may occasionally appear in content too.
Influencer campaigns
- Run influencer and UGC campaigns end to end: sourcing, outreach, coordination, gifting and reporting
Growing the studio
- Help run our own Instagram and showcase the studio’s work
- Research potential clients and bring ideas for new business
- Help prepare proposals, pitch decks and case studies
What we’re looking for
- Rich experience working with a variety of brands, including hotels or hospitality
- A strong aesthetic eye, with a portfolio that shows both beautiful work and real results
- Strategic thinking: you know why content works, not just how to make it
- Confident shooting and editing
- Comfortable speaking with clients and representing the studio
- Proactive and entrepreneurial: you spot opportunities and bring ideas
Pay
$40/hour, one day per week (9am–5pm), paid monthly by invoice.
Pay: $40.00 per hour
