About Teak Media
Teak Media + Communication is a strategic communications firm that works with nonprofits and socially responsible organizations that are doing meaningful work in the world.
Teak has built a reputation for strong and prolific earned media, and the Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager brings that same rigor and intentionality to social media. This role leads the day-to-day execution of clients' social presence while helping shape what Teak's social practice looks like as the field continues to evolve.
About the Position
The Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager owns clients' social presence day to day: drafting copy, designing posts, scheduling, engaging with communities, and capturing content at events, as well as Teak's own marketing, including the company's social media presence, monthly newsletter, website and blog content, and materials that support new business development.
As AI takes on more of the tactical work, what moves the needle is creativity, strategy, and genuine partnership. This role brings ideas to clients before they ask, spots opportunities in trends and makes them relevant, and thinks about social not as a content calendar to fill but as a storytelling platform to build. This role actively leverages AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline daily workflows, generate content ideas, and execute key deliverables efficiently.
This role also has visibility into how the communications space is evolving, including newsletters, podcasts, video storytelling, and new formats, and contributes to defining what modern communications looks like for the kinds of organizations Teak serves. Candidates with experience in nonprofits will be given priority.
