We are currently seeking candidates for a Social Media Marketing Specialist position with a highly successful investment management firm in Boston, MA. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will support paid and organic social media campaigns, content development, and performance analysis across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of social media marketing experience, preferably within financial services, and strong paid social campaign management skills.
This is a 12+ month contract position, paying $30–$36/hour (depending on experience). The role requires 4 days onsite per week in Boston, MA, with 1 day working from home.
Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize paid and organic social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Develop engaging social media content in collaboration with marketing and creative teams.
- Monitor campaign performance, audience engagement, and website traffic to identify improvements.
- Support paid social advertising, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.
- Manage social media activity across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Meta, and other platforms.
- Leverage social media management and analytics tools to track results and prepare reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media initiatives with marketing objectives.
- Identify emerging social media trends and recommend improvements to content and campaign strategies.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of social media marketing experience, preferably within financial services or asset management.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and audience targeting.
- Proficiency with Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Meltwater, or similar social media management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with social media metrics and Adobe Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required.
