Soni is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Copywriter with experience in retail, footwear, fashion, beauty, or accessories to support six consumer brands.
The ideal candidate knows how to "romance the product," transforming product features into compelling, aspirational storytelling that builds desire and drives purchases. This person will develop engaging product descriptions, email marketing copy, and distinct brand voices across multiple brands.
Responsibilities:
- Product Storytelling: Write compelling product descriptions that romance the product, highlighting style, features, benefits, and customer appeal.
- Email Marketing: Develop engaging subject lines, headlines, body copy, and calls to action (CTAs) that drive customer engagement and conversions.
- Brand Voice: Develop and maintain distinct brand voices, tone-of-voice guidelines, and messaging across six brands.
- Adapt copy to different consumer audiences while maintaining each brand's unique personality.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Edit and proofread copy for accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.
Qualifications:
- Must have copywriting experience within retail, footwear, fashion, beauty, or accessories.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product descriptions, product storytelling, and email marketing copy.
- Proven ability to romance products through aspirational, consumer-focused storytelling rather than simply listing features.
- Experience writing for e-commerce and consumer-facing brands.
- Ability to develop and adapt distinct brand voices across multiple brands.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, and conversion-driven copy.
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to travel to the New York City office occasionally for in-person meetings and collaboration.
Compensation: $30 - $35/ Hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
