Social Media Coordinator
5 days/week Onsite, Bergen County | Contract-to-Hire
Robert Half's retail client is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Coordinator/Content Creator to help elevate the social presence of a consumer brand. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong content creation, graphic design, video production, and community engagement skills with a data-driven approach to social media marketing.
What You'll Do
- Create engaging social content including graphics, carousels, Reels, animations, and short-form videos.
- Manage social media calendars, content scheduling, publishing, and copywriting across multiple platforms.
- Support social media strategy tied to product launches, promotions, and brand campaigns.
- Grow and engage online communities through daily interaction and relationship-building.
- Coordinate influencer and creator partnerships, including outreach, content deliverables, and performance tracking.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and growth.
- Monitor social trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, or graphic design.
- Experience managing branded social channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and short-form video editing.
- Experience with social scheduling/reporting tools such as Agorapulse, Airtable, or similar platforms.
- Background supporting influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or brand collaborations.
- Excellent copywriting, project management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar workflow tools.
- Mac proficiency required.
The hourly range for this position is $30-35 and 65-70K upon conversion to full-time.
