Aquent is seeking a visionary Communications Writer to partner with a leading global enterprise, known for its extensive reach and commitment to operational excellence. This is an unparalleled opportunity to directly shape how a vast, global workforce embraces the future of digital collaboration. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption of cutting-edge tools, ensuring that every employee understands the “why” and “what’s in it for them,” ultimately enhancing productivity and fostering a more connected, efficient workplace.
About The Opportunity
We are searching for a seasoned Communications Writer to join an integrated change team focused on organizational effectiveness. This pivotal role is dedicated to supporting the enterprise-wide rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 (M365). You will be at the forefront of creating clear, people-focused communications that empower a global corporate workforce to understand, adopt, and enthusiastically embrace new digital ways of working. This role emphasizes the human side of technological change, working closely with Change Management, Training, external consulting partners, and business stakeholders across the organization to ensure a seamless and impactful transition.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and draft engaging, global enterprise content, including executive and leadership communications regarding M365 and Microsoft Viva adoption.
- Develop a structured “Business Enablement Toolkit” email series tailored for individual business units.
- Craft compelling SharePoint/intranet news posts, enterprise announcements, and detailed FAQs.
- Create customizable talking points, messaging cascades, and templates for local business unit distribution.
- Write in a polished, corporate-aligned voice, translating complex technical rollouts into clear, plain language, focusing on “what’s changing” and “what’s in it for me” while adhering to internal brand and regulatory standards.
- Localize and tailor core M365 messaging to resonate authentically within specific business functions, providing targeted support to groups without dedicated communications resources.
- Partner directly with the Communications Lead to transform high-level guidance into polished, “ready to send” content with minimal rework, adeptly managing stakeholder feedback under tight deadlines.
- Coordinate with the broader change team to align messaging with M365 training campaigns, Viva engagement strategies, SharePoint updates, and external consulting change leads.
- Proactively recommend review routes and options to streamline governance processes, helping eliminate approval bottlenecks while maintaining enterprise controls.
What You’ll Bring - 5+ years of proven experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or change communications within large, complex global enterprises.
- A strong writing portfolio demonstrating executive/leadership communications around technology or organizational change, email campaigns, and intranet/SharePoint copy.
- Exceptional execution and adaptability, with the ability to translate high-level, sometimes partial information into structured, accurate copy quickly and independently.
- A proven track record of managing multiple workstreams and shifting deadlines simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including:
- Outlook: For managing targeted messaging and distribution lists.
- Teams: For real-time collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
- SharePoint: For structuring, formatting, and publishing intranet content.
- Word & PowerPoint: For drafting, layout, and document presentation.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Prior experience supporting enterprise M365, SaaS, or collaboration tool adoption/change programs.
- Background working within highly regulated, global corporate environments.
- Experience collaborating directly with Change Management departments.
- Previous experience working alongside leading management or change consulting partners.
