LaSalle Network is looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager of eCommerce & DTC Marketing to temporarily lead the direct-to-consumer eCommerce business for one of our top CPG clients here in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DTC marketing, with hands-on experience in managing and scaling eCommerce platforms. Proficiency in Shopify and Salesforce is highly desirable. This is contract opportunity for six months with the potential to extend and is mostly remote, with requirements of being onsite in Chicago once to twice a month.
Manager of eCommerce & DTC Marketing (Contract) Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall eCommerce strategy, focusing on driving growth through direct-to-consumer channels
- Lead performance marketing efforts, including PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media advertising and affiliate marketing, to optimize ROI and customer acquisition
- Oversee the management and optimization of eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences, site performance and conversion optimization
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive traffic, engage customers and increase sales
- Utilize analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
- Leverage tools like Shopify and Salesforce to enhance eCommerce operations and customer relationship management
- Build and mentor a high-performing eCommerce team of four, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Manager of eCommerce & DTC Marketing (Contract) Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
- Proven experience in eCommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth
- Expertise in performance marketing strategies, including paid search, SEO, email marketing and social media advertising
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and Salesforce is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
