Overview
Swoon is hiring for our banking client in Chicago, IL. This is a 12-month contract with benefits, including Health, Dental & Vision. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape digital banking experiences that make everyday banking simpler and more intuitive. You’ll join a collaborative team of product and content designers, partnering with Product, Development, and UX Research to bring new customer capabilities to life.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong UX/UI design skills with strategic thinking, enjoys solving complex problems, and can confidently guide stakeholders from early discovery through delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Own complex features and end-to-end customer journeys across digital banking applications.
- Translate user needs and business goals into wireframes, polished UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Work within an established design system and contribute new patterns as needed.
- Partner with Product and Development to define scope, shape solutions, and support implementation and QA.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, design discussions, and cross-functional reviews.
- Use research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and a consistent customer experience.
- Explore AI-powered tools to improve design workflows and efficiency.
- Share feedback and mentor junior designers to support the team’s growth.
