UX/UI Designer
Remote CST or EST, contract to hire
Summary
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to create accessible, intuitive, and brand-aligned digital experiences across enterprise websites, landing pages, forms, and marketing platforms. This remote, six-month contract offers potential for extension and requires strong Figma expertise, experience building reusable design-system components, and the ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams from discovery through implementation. The primary focus is website and digital experience design, with secondary support for email, paid media, and campaign creative.
Responsibilities
- Design responsive, user-centered digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, forms, and digital products.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that translate user, business, content, and technical requirements into effective design solutions.
- Establish clear navigation, content hierarchy, interface behavior, and calls to action.
- Contribute to a unified design system by developing reusable components, patterns, templates, specifications, and usage guidance.
- Document component variants, interaction states, responsive behavior, content requirements, and accessibility expectations.
- Collaborate directly with developers to translate designs into scalable, reusable interface components.
- Prepare organized Figma files, assets, and specifications for developer handoff.
- Review implemented experiences for consistency, responsiveness, accessibility, and alignment with approved designs.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback, usability findings, analytics, and implementation insights to improve digital experiences.
- Conduct image-library research and perform basic photo retouching and color correction as needed.
- Create supporting email templates, paid-media creative, banners, campaign graphics, and other digital assets.
- Collaborate with content, development, marketing, and business teams while adapting to changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Experience designing responsive websites, landing pages, or digital products.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
- Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI work, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, design-system contributions, high-fidelity designs, and completed digital experiences.
- Experience creating reusable interface components and preparing specifications for development.
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Strong visual and verbal communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work remotely while aligning with Central or Eastern Time Zone hours.
The salary range for this position is 33/hr to 37/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
