Position: Technical Writer Consultant
Location: Carlsbad, CA - Onsite
Duration: 4-8 weeks to start with (high possibility of extension)
Responsibilities
Work closely with IT team members to understand existing IT policies and network diagrams.
Review and revise technical documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for documentation updates.
Create and maintain comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for IT policies and network diagrams.
Ensure documentation is aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in meetings and discussions to capture technical information and updates.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in an IT environment.
Strong knowledge of IT policies and network diagrams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using documentation tools and software.
