Company Description Sarah Creal Beauty is a luxury beauty brand drawing on more than 30 years of product development expertise to create high-performance essentials for babes 40+. The company focuses on scientifically advanced, multi-use formulas with clinical-grade ingredients and thoughtfully designed, bespoke packaging. Rooted in honesty and realism, Sarah Creal Beauty rejects judgment, unrealistic promises, and unattainable beauty standards. The brand is dedicated to delivering uncompromising quality while fostering an inclusive, empowering experience for its community.
Role Description: Sarah Creal Beauty is in search of a Social Media Strategist to own the strategy and the ideas behind everything the brand puts into the world of social media. This is the thinking role — grid architecture, story planning, content concepting, and the briefs that set the standard for what gets made. You are a strategist with real creative instinct, tapped into the zeitgeist and trends. You are not waiting for a brief; you are writing it. You come in with a point of view on what we should be making, why it matters right now, and how it builds the SCB universe rather than simply filling a calendar. You know the difference between a trend worth taking and one worth ignoring, and you know how to make SCB part of the conversation. You will work in close partnership with the Social Content Manager, who brings your ideas to life on camera and in the edit, and with Creative, Product, Retail and PR to make sure social is integrated into the brand.
What You'll Own
Strategy & Ideas
- Grid & story planning — build, schedule, and narrate the grid and story architecture across Instagram and TikTok. The feed is an editorial argument, not a posting schedule, and you own the argument.
- Content ideation — generate the ideas. Series concepts, formats, cultural moments, collaborations, and the recurring franchises that make the brand recognizable. You continue building the SCB universe in partnership with the Director, Consumer Engagement.
- Platform strategy — a clear, channel-specific POV on how we win on Instagram and TikTok. You know what realistic growth looks like for a brand at our stage and you build the playbook accordingly.
- Founder & campaign briefs — own the briefs for all Founder content and campaign moments. What we're making, why, for which platform, and what it needs to do.
Execution & Partnership
- Content deliverables across social — own the full slate end-to-end, working cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Retail Marketing, and PR so assets are briefed, approved, and delivered without friction.
- Creator & UGC approach — set the strategy for creator and community content: what role it plays in the feed, whose voice we want, what we're asking them to make, and the bar for what gets posted. You write the brief and hold the standard; the Marketing Coordinator runs sourcing and seeding against it.
- Performance & iteration — review what's working by format and platform, and come with a clear recommendation on what to scale and what to kill.
- Production — run your own pipeline with the support of the Social Content Manager. Pre-production, shoot days, post, approvals, delivery. You hit the dates and you flag blockers before they become delays.
What You Bring
- 7-9 years in social strategy or social media management, with meaningful time on a brand where you owned channel strategy and content execution. Experience in a Founder-led brand is a plus.
- Luxury beauty is ideal, but not required. Fashion, hospitality, lifestyle, media, or any premium or culturally fluent category is genuinely interesting to us. We want you to show that taste and instinct, translating it into our social platforms.
- Original creative thinking — the single most important thing we are hiring for. We want to see ideas that started with you.
- Genuine cultural fluency. You're in the world — you go to the exhibit, you read the thing, you send the article. You have an answer, immediately, to "what's the most interesting thing you've seen on social lately?"
- A strong editorial and visual eye. You can look at a grid and say precisely what's working and what isn't.
- Deep platform fluency on Instagram and TikTok — formats, features, pacing, sound, and what each platform actually rewards right now.
- Working fluency in Figma and CapCut. You're not the primary editor, but you can mock up an idea and cut a rough draft to show what you mean.
- Hands-on experience with Dash Social or a similar analytics tool. You won't own reporting end to end, but you know how to turn the numbers into a recommendation.
- Sharp project management. You run a calendar, hit dates, and don't need to be chased.
- Real interest in the 40+ customer and the cultural conversation around how she is — and isn't — being spoken to.
Nice To Have
- Experience inside a Founder-led or early-stage brand, where pace and versatility are the job.
- Experience directing talent or a Founder on camera.
