NOW HIRING
Part-Time Social Media Coordinator at The Bond
York, PA · Part-time, about 15–20 hours/week · Hybrid (on-site + WFH)
Located in the vibrant Royal Square District of Downtown York, PA, The Bond is a distinctive wedding venue blending raw industrial architecture with refined elegance. Exposed brick. Dramatic lighting. Handcrafted chandeliers. A setting that transforms effortlessly from romantic ceremony to elevated reception. We believe couples aren’t booking just a room. They’re booking an experience and a team they trust with one of the biggest days of their lives. We need someone who can show that online.
THE ROLE
You’ll own The Bond’s organic social media presence from start to finish: planning it, capturing it, posting it, and engaging with our community. You’ll be on-site at some weddings and events, telling real stories about our couples, our team, and our spaces. Your content should turn followers into tour bookings. An engaged couple who finds us online should feel like they already know us before they walk in the door.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Content creation
◆ Capture photo and short-form video at weddings, events, and tours, plus behind the scenes: setup, design details, the team at work, and the space through the seasons.
◆ Edit Reels, TikToks, Stories, and carousels that feel polished and warm, not salesy.
◆ Write captions in The Bond’s voice: welcoming, confident, and real.
◆ Build and maintain an organized library of our photos and video, including vendor images with proper credit.
Social media management
◆ Plan and run a monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok.
◆ Post consistently, at least 3-5 times per week plus daily Stories (daily posting on TikTok)
◆ Reply to comments and DMs promptly and warmly. Send every inquiry to our sales team the same day, because a slow reply can lose a booking.
◆ Tag and work with vendor partners and reshare couple and vendor content.
Strategy and reporting
◆ Track monthly performance: reach, engagement, follower growth, and, most importantly, website clicks, inquiries, and tours that come from social.
◆ Prepare a monthly recap with what worked, what didn’t, and ideas for next month for meeting with Manager.
◆ Keep up with wedding and event trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
WHO YOU ARE
◆ You have 1–2+ years managing social accounts for a business or brand. A wedding, hospitality, or events background is a big plus.
◆ You have a strong eye for photography and video, and you’re confident shooting on a phone or camera and editing in CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, or similar tools.
◆ You write captions that sound like a person, not an ad.
◆ You own an iPhone and understand how to capture content: settings, angles, etc.
◆ You’re comfortable at live events. You know how to capture moments without getting in the way of a couple’s day. You can dress & act professionally.
◆ You’re organized, self-directed, punctual and reliable with deadlines. Attention to detail is a must.
◆ You care about details, people and understand that every touchpoint, even a DM reply, shapes how couples feel about us.
◆ You live in or near York County/City.
SCHEDULE & DETAILS
◆ About 15–20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling for planning and editing.
◆ Some evenings and weekends are required to capture events.
◆ Pay: depending on experience.
◆ Reports to: Leah Reasinger, Interim Venue Director
