Our client, a leader in Streaming Services, is in need of a
Senior Product Designer for an upcoming leave coverage. The ideal candidate will be an end-to-end seasoned Product Designer who can confidently speak to their design process.
Cross-platform mobile and web experience is required for consideration. TV platform experience is a "nice to have." Portfolios must be submitted in order to be considered.
Please note this is a Senior / Staff Level Individual Contributor (IC) position. Must be a hands-on IC; candidates seeking management or far removed from IC work will not be a fit.
Responsibilities:
- Create end-to-end product experiences that showcase the full user experience.
- Lead the creation of new features and optimizing existing features.
- Untangle ambiguous problems into a clear, actionable design plan.
- Synthesize business context quickly to move a team from "what if" to a shippable direction.
- Work in Figma from concept through detailed, dev-ready execution to create high quality craft solutions across platforms - TV, Mobile, and Web.
- Partner directly with product, engineering, merchandising, and marketing stakeholders to shape strategy and bring member-centered experiences to life.
- Facilitate collaborative work sessions across all levels of the org.
- Communicate direction through strong visual storytelling - in writing, in small groups, and in presentations.
- Innovate to meet new business and member needs while designing for scale.
- Be a fierce advocate for our members from around the world.
- Nice to have: When designing for extending existing patterns or creating new patterns, define reusable approaches that extend beyond individual projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience designing user experiences for end-to-end consumer-facing products.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end product experiences to successful outcomes at global scale.
- Exceptional craft and attention to detail, with a passion for maintaining high quality.
- Experience to ship complex products by working within technical constraints, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving toward successful outcomes.
- Strong cross-discipline partnership skills, able to see the big picture strategically, bring pieces together, and drive clarity through ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design decisions and strategy with influence.
- Proactive and self-starting, able to uncover and propose solutions independently.
- Ability to participate in and influence impactful design solutions across all phases of the product lifecycle.
- In depth knowledge of Figma.
- Fluent with AI design tools-actively uses them to increase workflow efficiency and elevate design quality.
- Passion for entertainment, content-rich product, storytelling, and elevating creative experiences.
- Track record of giving and receiving feedback.
