Role Description The Kitchen and Bath Designer will work on a contract basis to create custom kitchen and bath layouts, focusing on Italian cabinetry and modern interior solutions. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles, CA, with time split between the showroom, client sites, and working from home as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their needs, preparing design concepts and detailed plans, selecting materials and finishes, and presenting proposals. The designer will collaborate with sales staff, vendors, and installation teams to ensure accurate specifications and smooth delivery. Additional tasks include managing project documentation, updating drawings based on feedback, and providing design support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Kitchen & Bath Design and Cabinetry skills, including space planning, product selection, and familiarity with modern Italian design.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to conduct client meetings, understand requirements, and present design concepts clearly.
- Sales skills to support showroom consultations, prepare quotes, and help close design and product contracts.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD tools, rendering programs) and basic project coordination abilities.
- Experience in residential interior design or kitchen and bath remodeling, preferably in a luxury or European-focused environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and comfort working in a hybrid setting in Los Angeles, CA.
- Relevant education or certification in interior design, kitchen and bath design, or a related field is beneficial.
