Scope of Work
CONTRACTOR will contribute to the project through the following activities:
- Create a visual language for the site tools that is transferable to documents and publications related to STiCH content, including a style guide that aligns with the current site design.
- Collaborate with PI Eckelman and PI Nunberg to design the public-facing layout and user experience design of the tools on a new public-facing web page of the STiCH site.
- Design and integrate new page layouts for the STiCH LCA Tool Suite on the current STiCH website that align with the existing design language and logic.
- Collaborate with PI Eckleman to code the individual tools’ models and corresponding data into the website engine from main/raw data files.
- Collaborate with PI Eckelman and PI Nunberg to design and code the comprehensive public-facing Heritage LCA Tools on the website for users.
- Participate in the development of a Learning Group Assessment to identify areas of evaluation in user testing.
- Integrate findings from Learning Group Assessment into the final version of the site during a revision process, as directed by PI Eckelman and PI Nunberg.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in UX and UI Design.
- Proficient in website development and systems coding.
- Experience developing tools for a general audience.
- Familiarity with common design platforms such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and WordPress.
- Understand typography, color theory, and user response design systems.
- Have access to or means of working with Google Suite.
- Ability to integrate designs into WordPress.
- Previous work with data scientists and/or researchers preferred.
- Previous experience in data visualization desired.
