About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Designer UX Standard III for a long-term 6+ month contract opportunity in Washington, DC. This is an ideal role for an interaction design expert who has deep, practical experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem.
In this role, you will manage multiple projects from a UX perspective, taking full ownership of adherence to standards and the timely, high-quality delivery of design artifacts. Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead UX design across multiple projects, ensuring strict adherence to standards and the timely delivery of exceptional artifacts.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed, scenario-specific mockups, micro-interactions, and rapid prototypes through an iterative design process.
- Leverage specialized knowledge of Salesforce UX and the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) to craft seamless, user-centric interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to clarify detailed design requirements.
Key Requirements & Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a hands-on interaction designer with a strong portfolio showcasing complex interface designs.
- Salesforce Expertise: Prior, hands-on experience designing for Salesforce Lightning and familiarity with the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS). (Prior experience with Salesforce UX is critical for this role).
- Design Skills: Strong interaction design and rapid prototyping skills, with the ability to create polished micro-interactions and detailed, scenario-specific mockups.
- Tool Proficiency: Minimum mandatory proficiency in Figma (higher proficiency is a strong plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Additional visual design and user research skills.
