Sr. Product Designer
Location: Remote, but needs to work PST hours
Role Overview
As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, UX Research, and Creative to shape high-impact consumer-facing experiences across mobile web, desktop, and native apps. This role requires a strong strategic thinker who can operate independently in an environment with changing priorities. You will play a key role in evolving highly visible, conversion-driven surfaces by helping clients better understand products, compare options, and make informed purchase decisions. The ideal candidate has a strong retail/e-commerce background along with AI experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers to identify opportunity areas, define problem statements, and translate business and user needs into thoughtful design solutions.
- Act as a self-starter who can work independently after onboarding and hit the ground running immediately.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on improving product discovery, evaluation, storytelling, and decision-making across digital surfaces.
- Develop low-fidelity sketches, user flows, and frameworks to explore and validate concepts.
- Build interactive prototypes to communicate interaction models, test assumptions, and gather feedback.
- Produce high-fidelity, production-ready designs and clearly communicate specifications to engineering partners.
- Contribute to the evolution of a design system by establishing patterns and best practices.
- Advocate for the client experience while balancing business goals, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer who is a strong strategic thinker, not just focused on UI execution.
- Need strong retail/e-commerce background
- Use of AI tools or any AI experience
- Ability to operate in environments with changing priorities, ambiguity, and fast-moving timelines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proactive approach to feedback and constructive problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience leveraging design systems, components, and shared libraries.
- Strong AI experience.
- A mandatory portfolio that clearly demonstrates product thinking, business impact, and end-to-end ownership.
- 3+ years of professional experience in product or UX design, with an emphasis on mobile-first, responsive, and conversion-critical interfaces.
