Social Media & Content Coordinator

The Role
DU & BERRY is seeking a hands-on, visually driven Social Media & Content Coordinator to support the execution of our organic social media and content.
This role is ideal for someone who understands fashion, has a strong visual eye, and is comfortable moving between content creation, video editing, image editing, publishing, community engagement, and creator outreach.
The position reports to the Head of Marketing & Growth, who will provide overall marketing strategy, campaign direction, and content priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Film and create original content including product, styling, founder, behind-the-scenes, fitting, and lifestyle content.
- Edit short-form video for Reels, TikTok, Stories, and other digital channels.
- Edit and retouch photography and prepare visual assets for social and digital use.
- Create and adapt social graphics and campaign assets.
- Write captions, schedule content, and maintain the content calendar.
- Maintain a consistent visual and brand identity across social content.
- Monitor community engagement, comments, tags, and direct messages.
- Research relevant creators, influencers, stylists, and tastemakers.
- Support influencer outreach, gifting, and relationship tracking.
- Organize and maintain content, photography, video, and digital assets.
- Monitor basic organic social performance and identify content opportunities.
- Bring forward relevant social trends, formats, and creative ideas that align with the brand.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, fashion, lifestyle, or another visually driven brand.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social content, short-form video, photography, and/or editing.
- Strong visual sensibility and understanding of fashion, styling, composition, and contemporary designer-brand aesthetics.
- Strong video editing skills.
- Comfortable shooting content using a smartphone and/or camera.
- Strong image-editing and retouching skills.
- Good written communication and social copywriting skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work independently from a creative brief while also taking direction and feedback well.
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Final Cut Pro
- Canva
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Figma, or similar creative tools is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time
- Primarily on-site in our New York City studio
- Schedule and weekly hours will be determined based on experience, skill set, and the needs of the role.
- Compensation: $30–$50/hour, based on experience, portfolio, and demonstrated skills.
