Internal Communications Specialist
Location: Columbus, OH – Onsite
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Up to $48.25/hr
This onsite opportunity in Columbus, OH is with an established organization in the aviation training industry supporting corporate, commercial, and simulation systems training products and services. The Internal Communications Specialist will leverage Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Outlook, and internal communications strategies to develop and execute company-wide communications. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a 40-hour work week.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced communications professional who enjoys turning complex information into clear, engaging messaging. You'll work closely with key stakeholders, contribute to high-visibility internal initiatives, and have the opportunity to influence how information is communicated throughout the organization. Contractors generally stay long term, with a good chance of extensions beyond the initial assignment.

Required Skills & Experience
· Knowledge of internal communication strategies
· Excellent technical writing skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
· Demonstrated creative ability
· Experience developing and executing internal communications plans and programs
Desired Skills & Experience
· Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred
· 5+ years of experience in Communications, Business Development, Research, Marketing, or a combination thereof preferred
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
· Familiarity with the aviation industry
· Knowledge of aviation training programs, associated regulatory requirements, and simulation systems
