About the Opportunity
Join a fast-paced content studio supporting a complex organization. This role is part of an agile creative team responsible for producing clear, compelling communications across editorial, digital, web, email, and internal channels.
The Senior Content Creator, Editorial is a hands-on player-coach who produces polished work while helping elevate the output of other creators. You will apply strong editorial judgment, writing expertise, visual design capability, and light video-production skills to bring important stories and communications to life.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor Content Creators, providing clear, constructive feedback that improves creative and editorial quality.
- Review newsletters, email communications, web updates, and editorial materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with established brand standards.
- Create original content for newsletters, email campaigns, websites, executive communications, and broader storytelling initiatives.
- Write, edit, and refine long-form, short-form, and email content for varied audiences and channels.
- Concept and design visual assets for digital and editorial communications within established brand systems.
- Serve as a creative and editorial escalation point for project teams.
- Support lightweight video projects, including ideation, scripting, basic capture, editing, and creator coaching.
- Collaborate with content leadership, editors, communications partners, and producers to determine the best approach for each assignment.
- Manage a mix of planned and quick-turn assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail and editorial rigor.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in content creation, writing, editing, design, or a related creative discipline.
- Experience working within an agency, corporate creative studio, communications team, or similar environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or informally guiding other creators.
- A portfolio demonstrating editorial, email, web, and ideally video work you have independently created or helped lead.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, grammar, tone, and voice skills.
- Strong visual design capabilities, including typography, layout, and application of established brand systems.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or comparable content-creation and design platforms.
- Experience with content management, employee communications, or marketing automation platforms such as Sitecore, Staffbase, or Marketo is a plus.
- Photography, motion graphics, and/or lightweight video capture and editing experience is a plus.
- Ability to take work from an initial brief or source material through polished final execution with minimal handoffs.
- A collaborative, adaptable working style with the ability to work independently and contribute as part of an integrated team.
