Who We Are
Tony Bayudan for Daly City Council is a grassroots political campaign focused on tackling the affordability crisis in Daly City and improving the quality of life of our residents.
The Job:
Interns in this role are expected to manage the candidate's social media accounts, creating consistent content for online platforms to drive up support and engagement. Must be able to coordinate with campaign staffers to inform supporters of campaign and fundraising events.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Content Creation and Management
- Create content to post on social media.
- Inform followers about upcoming campaign events.
- Create graphics for use on the candidate’s social media platforms.
- Analyze engagement to maximize voter outreach.
Outreach
- Delivering mailers and other literature to constituents’ homes.
- Staffing campaign fundraising events, greeting, answering questions, and collecting donations from supporters.
- Compiling mailing lists and organizing internal documents.
- Researching events for the candidate.
Qualifications - Required
- Knowledge of social media platform management and outreach (TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Graphic design knowledge (Canva, Adobe, Photoshop, etc).
Qualifications - Desired
- Some knowledge regarding political campaign operations.
- Located in Daly City, or able to commute with ease to canvassing efforts/campaign events in the area.
- Flexible availability.
Expected time commitment: 4-6 hours per week (including campaign events).
Note: This is a part-time, temporary position (through November 3rd, 2026). This role is an unpaid position with no financial compensation attached.
