Sanofi's contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking a part-time Media Strategy & Communications Manager for a 12-month contract.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic marketing leader to own and elevate a flagship consumer brand's multi-channel paid media strategy and integrated go-to-market planning. This role serves as the primary strategic lead across media, public relations, social, influencer, and brand teams, acting as the central connector that ensures a holistic, consumer-centric communications ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a powerful blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, driving brand growth, maximizing ROI, and delivering cohesive campaigns across all paid, earned, shared, and owned touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of fully integrated go-to-market communication plans across media, public relations, social, influencer, digital commerce, and owned channels
- Ensure all communications disciplines are aligned against a common brand strategy, consumer journey, business objectives, and campaign priorities
- Own the brand's multi-channel paid media strategy, including annual planning, campaign development, channel prioritization, budget allocation, and investment optimization
- Lead media agency partners in developing strategic recommendations aligned with brand objectives, target audience insights, and growth opportunities
- Evaluate and challenge agency plans to ensure investments are effective, efficient, and grounded in measurable business results
- Serve as the central cross-functional leader across Brand, Media, Creative, PR, and agency partners
- Manage and optimize the agency ecosystem — including media, creative, PR, social, and website — across scope, performance, and budgets
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks tied to business outcomes, driving continuous campaign optimization
- Establish learning agendas and apply consumer, competitive, and media effectiveness insights to improve ROI
- Partner with Brand, digital commerce, and sales teams to accelerate precision marketing and digital capabilities
Skills
- Deep expertise across media, PR, social, and influencer marketing disciplines
- Strong understanding of media channels including digital, social, influencer, retail media, video, audio, search, and emerging platforms
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage agency partners effectively
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including interaction with senior internal and external leaders
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex strategies clearly
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including diplomacy, credibility, and negotiation ability
- Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs
- Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing business environment
Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, media, or agency roles, with CPG experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing multi-channel media strategies that drive measurable brand and business growth
- Experience managing agency ecosystems and overseeing complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives
