Job Description:
We are seeking a UX Designer to join a high-performing team supporting enterprise applications and digital experiences within a large transportation organization. This role is ideal for a UX professional who enjoys solving complex user problems, partnering closely with engineers and product teams, and influencing product direction through user-centered design and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Influence product decisions by applying UX best practices, design principles, user research, and Agile methodologies
• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to develop effective, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
• Gather, analyze, present, and implement feedback while managing updates to UX deliverables
• Communicate design concepts and recommendations through compelling presentations and storytelling
• Provide status updates, identify risks, and track project progress using tools such as Jira, Rally, and Aha!
• Design intuitive user interfaces and interaction flows aligned with established design systems
• Create conceptual diagrams, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Develop research plans, usability testing strategies, scripts, and scenarios to validate design solutions
• Conduct user interviews, heuristic evaluations, usability testing, and other research activities
• Lead UX projects from discovery and ideation through execution and implementation
• Mentor and support other designers while fostering collaboration across teams
• Ensure responsive and adaptive design experiences across desktop and mobile platforms
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency with Figma and modern design/prototyping tools
• Experience partnering closely with engineers from concept through implementation
• Experience working within Agile product development environments
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions, teams, and geographic locations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience addressing complex user and business challenges
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0+ AA compliance and inclusive design practices
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development concepts
• Strong storytelling and presentation abilities
• Experience designing complex enterprise applications and information architectures
• Excellent organizational skills with experience building detailed user flows and wireframes
• Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve design efficiency and decision-making
